We are seeking a patient, knowledgeable, and professional Driving School Instructor to join our team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality in-car instruction to new drivers, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and confidence to drive safely and pass their road tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-vehicle driving instruction following Alberta Transportation regulations.
  • Teach students safe and defensive driving techniques, traffic laws, and vehicle operation.
  • Teach and reinforce safe driving habits to help students become confident, responsible drivers.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate student records, including progress reports and attendance.
  • Prepare students for Alberta’s Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program and Class 5 road tests.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging learning experience for students of all ages.
  • Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and ethical guidelines.
  • Maintain the driving school vehicle in clean and working condition.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License (non-GDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Alberta Transportation Driving Instructor License.
  • Must provide your own vehicle equipped with dual brakes, meeting all Alberta Transportation safety standards.
  • Previous experience as a driving instructor or in driver education is an asset.
